Doing security backstage at a major venue has allowed me to meet a lot of people, with mixed results.
Toby Keith - Unbelievable douchebag, I hated him
Graham Nash - Wonderful man, we talked about racing Minis and England
Ryan from Umphreys McGee - Very cool, a great guy
Fiona Apple - Total bitch. Got there half an hour late and tried to blame the bus driver, who told me they made a stop to pick up some blow for her, thats why they were late
Willie Nelson - Was totally high, gave me a guitar pick and called me brother
Sheryl Crow - Asked me to watch her dog for her while she ate lunch. Me and that Golden Retriever hung out for about an hour. Both he and Sheryl were as nice as could be
John Popper of Blues Traveler - Gave a 5 minute speech about being healthy when I told him he was my inspiration to lose weight. Then asked if I knew where he could get some cocaine.
